Lots of news...

There's lots of good news contained in today's post. We have an updated entrant list which has increased substantially, our first video entries and we also have an additional sponsor and a better outline of what sort of prizes are going to be on offer and where they will be allocated.

This puts us at 31 entrants within the novice category and 12 within the sponsored with a total of 43 so we're doing pretty well. We should get to experience plenty of interesting videos throughout the competition period.

Before we look at the first videos of the competition we need to discuss a new rule. We plan to create channels on Vimeo and Youtube so that the videos are easy to find and watch. However, having only some videos on Youtube and only some on Vimeo defeats that goal. So you will now be required to upload your video to both your own Youtube and Vimeo account. From there we will add your video to a channel that we create. Both Youtube and Vimeo are easy to register with. This will also helps with the issues some viewers have with one or the other of these sites. We apologise for the additional effort this will cause you but it will contribute to the overall quality of the competition.
